Although groups are able to join the Coalition by integrating their own products (insured by BlueCross BlueShield of WNY) into the Coalition, the Labor-Management Healthcare Fund offers their own platform of benefits for active employees and retirees (pre Medicare and Medicare eligible).

Medicare Part D Creditable Coverage
The Labor-Management Healthcare Fund has determined that the prescription drug coverage offered in our retiree drug plans is, on average for our plan participants, “creditable coverage” as defined by Medicare.

If you are enrolling in a Medicare Part D plan of benefits and require a Notice of Creditable Coverage, please contact the LMHF office at (716) 601-7980. It is important to note; however, that enrolling in a Medicare Part D plan may result in loss of coverage through the LMHF.
